Landmarks of Pittsburgh
At noon on a Wednesday, I decided to venture out and see a great part of Pittsburgh. Walking in this part of Pittsburgh, there is an incredible amount of things to see. I see so many different kinds of people that are all here for the same thing; to buy things you can’t find anywhere else in Pittsburgh. Mostly all of the people are carrying shopping bags from what they have brought from at least one store they went into.
Walking down the street I see beautiful flowers that are way to temping to buy. I also see people selling Steelers apparel on the street, along with a store selling hand made clothing and accessories.
I go across the street and find a store to go into. This store has any kind of cheese, meat, pasta, or any kind of Italian food product you’d ever need. I leave the store and go into another. I found biscotti in this store, and of course I have to buy some before I can leave. Once I leave, I go across the street and walk past fresh produce that is ready to be sold. The next store I find is filled with seafood. I walk around the store for a little, and find just about any kind of fish I could ever want to eat or try. I decide to buy some frozen mussles to eat for dinner.
Walking out of the store, there are numerous smells on the street. Smell the great fragrance of flowers, and the not so great smell of raw fish. I also smell the aroma of food being cooked right out on the street, which is making my stomach growl. I walk into a little restaurant called Enrico’s to eat. It’s a very small place with great food. I’ll bring some friends there to eat sometime.
I didn’t realize how long I’ve been over in this part of Pittsburgh. The time really flew by and its already 4 o’clock, which means I better get home and get ready for English class.
